No place like Nome

When I was reading the historical story from Nome and the gold
rush, it seems to me that the first photo on the page with all
the tents along the beach, can be the wrong way round.
The mountains in the background
of the photo, seems to be Cape Nome, but the photo shows the
beach in a westward direction, which is the opposite direction
to Cape Nome.
