I also take exception to your opinion letter saying, "You guys" or "you people". You are implying that we are different and from a different country. In Cape Fox Corporation defense, they don't have to do anything to their land. The Cape Fox People have been managing land since time and memorial and certainly don't need your help - or for that fact, my help. Yes, we are caretakers of the land or environmentalist. You said you love to kayak in Misty Fiords and the Unuk River. Why would you want to ruin the landscape for a few people to exploit? It is my opinion, what the local, State and Federal Governments need to do is use the tax dollars to fix existing road maintenance and drinking water problems in Ketchikan. In closing, promoting tourism by building more docks, an aquarium or make better use of existing lands for economic growth are good ideas. This is my own opinion. Don Hoff Jr.
