Snow removal
By Joe Jacobs

Wednesday
I think the state, borough, and city could have planned and executed
snow removal in a safer and more cost efficent manner. As a second
year resident I was just dumbfounded seeing the lack of coordination
playing out. I think snow removal training and better equipment
need to be thought about no matter how much snow we get.
This would never stand in the
rest of Alaska or the states. Thank goodness more people weren't
hurt. I do want to thank everyone who helped on unplugging the
drains downtown, it was good to see everyone working together
on that. Also, please be careful when using salt and urine, or
try the good stuff, sand.
