Location of Library

After many years of trying to fit the new library into what used
to be the "downtown" area, it is time to rethink the
location. It is no longer "downtown". That
is the tourist area. The library does not belong there.
It is not a tourist destination. It is our public library and
should be located where we can use it.
A recent letter to Sitnews
suggested a West End location. This would put the library
and parking within easy reach of all, and possibly
reduce acquitition and construction costs.
