I am appalled of the mere suggestion that the Ketchikan Gateway Borough might consider hiring a person convicted of a crime as our lobbyist to the State. As a resident of the borough for many years, and a business owner for over 20 years, I cannot emphasize strongly enough how important it is to me that our lobbyist be above reproach, a person of outstanding integrity. To even consider sending a lobbyist up to Juneau who has been convicted of a financial crime, representing our borough, leaves me speechless (almost) and angry, to say the least. ML Dahl
