Healthy Forest Concept
by Michael Martin

That whole "healthy forest" concept is such a sham.
That was a term coined by the timber industry to try to justify
the mechanical destruction of natural habitat. The reason forests
need to be maintained today is because of the clear cutting that
allowed the undergrowth to thrive. If the clear cutting had not
taken place the undergrowth never would have gotten out of control.
It WAS a delicate balance that was disturbed. Now you can justify
keeping the forest "healthy" because of prior raping
of the land.
