Friendly discourse is the
American way

Mr. Warner, I will keep this short and sweet... You could not
have done a more eloquent argument for the bridge you pretend
to hate. You advised me to move to San Francisco if I wanted
to pay the tolls to use the Golden Gate bridge. You are right,
the toll is now $6 to cross the bridge but you only have to pay
in one direction. Also, they don't charge you to walk across
the bridge. But in Ketchikan you get to pay $5 a head each direction
and God forbid you want to actually use a car to pick up friends,
that will cost you well over $20. I love our airport and the
ferry is pretty cool but to compare a toll-free bridge versus
our current method is laughable.
Thanks again, I'm sure everyone
else figured out the hole in your argument. Keep smiling. Friendly
discourse is the American way. I truly respect your difference
of opinion and I love the debate.
