Looking for history...
By William J. Zimmer
February 20, 2006
Monday AM
I am trying to find out some history on my great uncle Albert
Christian Kreidler, who left Kentucky in 1897 for the Klondike
gold rush. He prospected for some 25 years and then settled in
Ketchikan and formed a construction/sand/gravel company. He lived
in Ketchikan until 1948 and then retired to Florida. I met him
on two occasions when he visited his sister Mary Bueter who was
my grandmother and who lived with us. I am writing something
about his life because, not having any children himself, his
remembrance might be lost in our family. I am writing to ask
if you have any information or stories about his life in Ketchikan.
I will appreciate any information that you have.
Cordially and Thanks,
William J. Zimmer
