VANCOUVER FERRY TERMINUS AN
EXCELLENT IDEA

If for no other reason than the economics in terms of providing
both a shorter southbound run and an opportunity to visit the
far more interesting locales of Vancouver and Victoria the alternative
of a southern terminus move has a great deal of merit.
Then too the greediness of
Seattle and the uncooperative Washington congressional delegation
certainly deserve some attention from Alaska in terms of a terminal
change threat generating some political unrest in the state of
Washington and some acknowledgment that Seattle does need to
pay heed to mutual economic goals. Perhaps also a worthwhile
change.
Let us therefore commend Representative
Kurt Olson on his foresight and vision and see what Vancouver
does have to offer.
