Ketchikan, Alaska - Schoenbar Middle School's wrestling team participated in an eight team tournament in Petersburg this past weekend and came home with the 3rd place trophy, according to Coach Kuehl. Bringing home 1st place medals were Justin Duruji at 95 pounds, Ian Fultz at 110 pounds, and Jeremy Duruji at 127 pounds. Also in the finals and finishing 2nd place were Sanford Ohlson at 85 pounds and Devin Kleinschmidt at 133 pounds. Denise Weston also medaled by finishing 3rd at HWT. Schoenbar's next competition will be the Southeast Alaska Wrestling Tournament, Feb. 24 & 25 in Juneau.
