Ketchikan Bridge Project:
Open Letter to the Governor
By Robert Warner

Dear Governor Palin:
An editorial in the Anchorage Daily News recommends that you
cancel the $40 million contract work on the Ketchikan bridge
project. This was one of those stupid last minute decisions
made by the former governor a few days or hours before he left
office.
I agree with the Anchorage newspaper's recommendation. Please
stop all spending on this silly project before more public funds
are wasted on this foolishness. I also believe that a decision
to halt this spending will assist Ketchikan in improving its
image that was so badly tarnished when the "Bridge to Nowhere"
made national headlines last year.
Many thanks for considering my opinion!
Sincerely,
Robert D. Warner
