PHOTO COURTESY OF KETCHIKAN THEATRE BALLET
The Ketchikan Theatre Ballet senior company features the school's most advanced dancers. They are led by Marguerite Auger, a former KTB dancer and the troupe's director since 1984. Cake and punch will be served after the performance, and there will be a chance to meet the ballerinas. "The Ketchikan Theatre Ballet has been performing for Prince of Wales in conjunction with breast cancer awareness for the past 10 years," Auger said. "It is important for us here at Ketchikan Theatre Ballet to promote a healthy lifestyle for our students. Because the majority of our dancers are females, we believe that the understanding of breast cancer awareness is imperative at a young age." Tickets are $5 for adults age 10-64. The show is free for senior citizens and youth ages 9 and younger. Tickets are on sale at the SEARHC Alicia Roberts Medical Center in Klawock and Voyageur Book Store in Craig. Tickets also will be available at the door. For information on the show, contact Susan Suarez at 966-8459 or susan.suarez@searhc.org.
