Alaska Board of Fisheries to Meet in Ketchikan

The Alaska Board of Fisheries invites oral public testimony during the meeting beginning February 24. Anyone intending to testify must sign up at the meeting site in Ketchikan by 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25. Public testimony will continue until everyone present who has signed up by the deadline has been given the opportunity to be heard. All portions of the meeting are open to the public and a live audio-stream is intended to be available on the Alaska Board of Fisheries' website. Documents submitted to the board are intended to be posted online throughout the meeting. Advanced meeting materials, including the agenda and roadmap, can be obtained by contacting the Board's Support Section at 907-465-4110 or viewed online at: http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=fisheriesboard.meetinginfo. The Alaska Board of Fisheries encourages the public to submit written comments on specific proposals. During the meeting, written comments up to 10 pages single-sided (or 5 pages double-sided) in length may be submitted, with a requirement to provide 25 copies. Individuals not attending the meeting can submit comments by fax to 907-465-6094.
