ANB/ANS Camp 14 Essay Winners Announced

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - During the Elizabeth Peratrovich Day Celebration held at the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center in Ketchikan on February 16th, the winners of the Alaska Native Brotherhood/Alaska Native Sisterhood Camp 14 essay contest "Alaska Native Leadership and what it means to me" were announced.
The essays were written by Schoenbar Middle School, Ketchikan High School, and Revilla School students.
ANB/ANS Camp 14 ranked the essays noting it was difficult because the students all submitted wonderful essays. Those submitted that were less than 300 words were disqualified because of the word length rule which shortened the list.
12 winners and 13 honorable mentions were selected:

3rd Place:
