Daylight Savings Time Change
By Mike Bethel
February 25, 2015
Wednesday PM
Where does the fact that we lose two hours in the evenings if we stop using daylight savings time come from? Metlakatla is not using daylight savings time and they are currently on the same time as Seattle. They gain an hour in the evening, not lose two.
As an example, our sunset today is 5:05 PM and in Metlakatla it is at 6:05 PM.
Thank you.
