Declaration of Independence: We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal. That they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. That among these are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights governments are instituted amongst men deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. THAT WHEN EVER GOVERNMENT BECOMES DESTRUCTIVE TO THESE ENDS IT IS THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO ALTER OR ABOLISH AND INSTITUTE NEW GOVERNMENT.

The above capitalized is the birth place of the second Amendment and its highest purpose, You can alter Government through the ballot box but there is only one way the people can abolish it and that is through a force of arms.

Bullet and bayonet in private hands gave birth to this nation. And the blood that was sacrificed then and now has been mixed with the mortar that holds the foundation of liberty together. Eliminate private gun owner ship and the foundation starts to erode.

Why is it that when some low life shoots up a school, the progressive answer is to immediately abolish the 2nd Amendment, force law abiding citizens to turn in their weapons or risk swift prosecution and long term imprisonment. while at the same time turning a blind eye to people who come here illegally, give then a pass when they break our laws and break the law themselves by refusing to deport them.

To answer this question I can only turn back to the Declaration of Independence. (Whenever Government becomes destructive to these ends it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it and institute new government).

As long as the people are armed this is real power, power in the hands of the people. And it greatly subtracts power from a centralized progressive globalistic Government who sees illegal immigration as one of their pathways to ultimate power.

Stopping school shootings is easy all you have to do is set up security perimeters similar to that which we have at airports and football games. In short eliminate the soft target where the bad guys know there are no guns.

Israel recognized this reality and they now have secure and safe schools. And this is a place where they have some real serious bad guys on an ongoing basis.

But unfortunately there is another cold and shadowy reality. Progressives don't want to stop school shootings. They want to use the blood of the dead, the dying and the broken as sacrificial pawns.

Sacrificial pawns to be used to put the 2nd Amendment on the pathway to extinction, imprison Americans who refuse to lay down their arms, financially destroy those who speak out against them and to fundamentally change the founding principles of liberty found in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.
