Trash collection

I too would like to thank the Dixon Entrance Chapter of the American
Society of Foresters for their efforts this past weekend and
also in past years. As a North Tongass Highway commuter, I have
seen these folks on the highway many times, doing for us what
really shouldn't have to be done, and that is picking up other
people's garbage. It always dismays me how quickly the highway
becomes littered again.
Several groups have adopted sections of the highway; I wonder
where they are? The stretch out near Lighthouse grocery was cleaned
up last year once, and as noted before, quickly messed up again
by those who do not handle garbage properly.
Thank you again too, Mr. Cegelske, for keeping this issue fresh
in our minds!
