Desecration Bridge

Governor Frank Murkowski's family bridge to no-where is the greatest
waste of Federal, State and Local tax dollar ever spent on worthless
bridges in Alaska. The citizens of America, Alaska and
Ketchikan are getting screwed. Connecting Ketchikan Bridge
to Gravina Island via Pennock Island for what? So the Murkowski
family can drive over to their 33 acres of family owned land,
Goldstring and Goldstone old mining sites just south of Clam
Cove on Gravina Island valued at $240,000 dollars. In my
opinion, Frank and Lisa have a conflict of interest and have
hidden motivations to construct a $315 million plus bridge to
Gravina Island. Is this payback for years of friendship from
Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska), Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) and
what about Frank's daughter Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)?
Lisa was in Ketchikan recently lobbying and supporting the bridge
project to go forward. Is that not a conflict?
I have a theory why these few people are pushing this bridge
project. They screwed up by not putting the projects up
for a Public Vote! Secondly, they have wasted millions
of taxpayer's dollars in planning to back out without losing
face. In my opinion, a crime and our Washington D.C. delegation
and State of Alaska Representatives that supported this boon-doggle
bridge projects should be accountable for their mistake.
These few people have and are still wasting millions of your
tax hard earned money.
The American taxpaying people said to no to the earmark bridges
in Alaska. Governor Murkowski is going to try to build
this bridge to no-where by using loop holes and brain-washing
tactics that these bridges are going to be built with impunity!
Tell your State Legislators to vote no on any funding to these
bridges in Anchorage or Ketchikan, Alaska.
They should name the bridge, "Desecration Bridge" not
Ralph M. Bartholomew Veterans Memorial Bridge. These few
people that want this bridge have no regards to Alaska Native
concerns about our Native grave sites on Pennock Island.
They are willing to break their own Federal and State laws protecting
Native graves to build this bridge. It is sick. From
stupid minds come stupid ideas.
In closing, Ketchikan can not afford this worthless bridge to
no-where. It is going to cost more than $315 million dollars
now to construct. The hard working people in Ketchikan
can not afford to pay for the hidden maintenance cost in the
future. Say No to Governor Frank Murkowski. We don't
want your bridge to be built in Ketchikan. This is my own
opinion.
