Rest Peacefully Dick
By Gretchen Klein

Tuesday PM
On behalf of all the people and agencies in Ketchikan Dick has
touched we thank you. Dick definitely changed the way many of
us were able to get our news and voice our opinions. He made
it all look effortless, and easy, but those who watched him knew
he was always spending countless hours out there getting us the
news as fast and quick as he could.
There are many among us which did not know that this awesome
man buzzing around town taking photos, taking notes, and answering
our emails and calls was really quietly famous. He was a true
champion who never let us down.
Dick got it all on Sitnews within hours will the wonderful help
of his lovely wife Mary. I can't count the times they have spent
editing and improving many of my own articles. There aren't
many in the field who will do that with so many other things
to do.
Sitnews will go on as you wish
Dick because Ketchikan is your community, and we will help Mary
do it.
Thank you Dick for all your time and quiet efforts in Ketchikan,
and throughout Southeast Alaska. Rest Peacefully.
