I was very disturbed this week when I came across an advertisement for a children's book. The book was called "Why Mommy is a Democrat".

I went with curiosity to the book's website where there were some sample pages and I couldn't believe my eyes.

The book showed a "mommy" and "child" as squirrels and the "mommy" was saying she was a democrat because she made her child safe, shares her toys,and all the other nice things in that vein.
OK, that's not the problem. The problem was that there were insets in the pictures showing people being mean, not sharing, not letting people into college, not letting people have health care and being charged by a huge imposing elephant.

The message was clear. Democrats are the good guys and Republicans are evil.

Give me a break. Are there people out there that really believe this garbage? What happened to the concept that we are all Americans but have differing ideas on how things should be accomplished.

There are no "bad guys" except those who wish to destroy us and our freedom.
