VP Candidate Suggestion
By Robert D. Warner

Dear SitNews Editor:
The recent suggestion for a Democratic Vice Presidential candidate
by Mark Neckameyer could likely be a significant improvement
over the current ticket of Bush and Cheney, but who wouldn't
be? My feeling is that historians will rate Bush and Cheney
at the bottom of the list of respected administrations and certainly
below the rankings of Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge.
There is a problem with Mr. Neckameyer's idea, however. The
United States Constitution requires that candidates for those
offices be natural born Americans. That would exclude the person
Mr. Nickameyer suggests.
Don"t worry Mark. We can feel certain that there will be
a number of outstanding candidates within the Democratic Party
that will be willing to serve in the office of Vice President
and help clean up the tragic mess of the last 8 years.
