Infestation of Local Faith
Groups

There a several local churches downtown who could be listed as
part of the 'infestation of non-profits' -- at least in the eyes
of those who might belittle faith along with everything else.
It is a proven fact, practiced by even the faithless rich, that
generosity brings financial health -- and that the opposite is
also true. Those who support groups that are doing good for our
community are doing themselves a favor.
Keep up the good work of giving into local groups who are doing
the grass roots work in this place. Did you know that the counseling
given through local faith groups in America far exceeds any other
source of emotional, or spiritual help available -- and can be
proven to have a better outcome over all. Did you know that
the families and individuals who are part of service groups ,and
most especially those of faith, are more healthy in every way
than those who are not? They live longer, have fewer emotional
problems, their families are more stable and they are more stable
with their finances?
So I advocate for several more local churches or faith based
groups to arise and do what mere governments cannot do, instill
hope, faith , and love in all they contact, and by doing so change
the whole atmosphere of this wonderful place.
