UAS Library Movies Questioned
By Robert D. Warner

Dear Sitnews Editor:
Recently I have noticed that the UAS Ketchikan Library is offering
a series of "brown bag lunch" movies. The movies are
scheduled from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the library.
Is the library open at this time to serve students who want focus
on their library work or are just looking for a quiet place to
read? How are these students able to study and work in the library
with the noise and confusion of a movie? Does the campus have
an empty classroom available where movies could be shown without
disturbing patrons who want to use the library for what it was
designed for?
