Three More from Ketchikan Arrested For Drugs

The Ketchikan Police Department had received information that Montgomery was going to be flying to Sitka from Ketchikan and possibly in possession of Heroin. Officers contacted Montgomery and executed a search warrant on him and his belongings at which time four small packages of Heroin were found, about 1 gram total. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail. Over the weekend, officers of the Ketchikan Police Department working with the U.S. Postal Inspectors executed two search warrants and arrested two individuals on methamphetamine related charges on Saturday, March 24, 2012. Samantha Jean Garton, 23 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, was arrested after receiving a package containing 16 grams of methamphetamine, street value of about $8,000.00. She was charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, and Violation of Conditions of Release. She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held without bail. Manuel Sanchez Hinahon, 37 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, was arrested after a package delivery which contained 84 grams of methamphetamine, street value of about $42,000.00. He was charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail.
