Juneau has always been bigger but not necessarily better. There were years in the 60's when Petersburg and Wrangell and Sitka and Ketchikan gave Juneau a run for their money, years when for whatever reason there was a bumper crop of athletes coming out of these smaller towns. And, believe me, nothing is sweeter than handing Juneau its lunch. Even now. Ask the kids what they want. You might be surprised.
