(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - On March 12, 2013 at approximately 1715 hours, the Ketchikan Police Department received a report of a robbery at a Channel View Trailer Park address.  A male brandishing a handgun confronted a 19 year old male living at the residence over a debt.  The subject demanded everything in the resident’s pockets.  The resident handed the subject a cell phone and a pack of cigarettes.  The subject then left the area of the residence.

Officers investigating the case were able to identify the subject as IAN R. JOHNSON, 19 years of age of Ketchikan, Alaska and located him at his residence at approximately 0940 hours on March 13, 2013.  The subject was interviewed and a search warrant was executed on his person, apartment and vehicle.  Officers located the victim’s cell phone and cigarettes, but did not find a handgun matching the description given by the victim. 

Mr. Johnson was arrested and charged with Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the Third Degree and Theft in the Third Degree.
