RE: City of Ketchikan Mismanagement

Doug Thompson is a friend of mine. I used to see Doug down in the harbor when he would be tinkering on his boat. I also would be tinkering on my boat. I feel so fortunate to be able to go down on the docks and have a boat to hang out on.
I think it is a sad situation when a person like Doug who made his life on the water, who is very knowledgeable about boats, who is a local, who is retired and his boat is part of his enjoyment in life, who had a clean safe boat and who I am guessing paid his rent on time, is told he must OBEY THE RULES OR ELSE!
But then again I guess I am like Doug because I think some rules don't have anything to do with common sense.
