I just ran across June Allen's stories on Sitnews and enjoyed all the stories I have looked at. Will pick up the rest later. Especially enjoyed the ones on Bill Baker and Albro Gregory. Glad to see June is still at it.

I remember when June covered the court and took an interest in one of the local drunks. June was convinced that his problem was that he couldn't hear and went on a campaign to get him a hearing aid. Somehow June came up with the money and presented him with the hearing aid. The next thing I remember is June telling me that she had seen him walking down the street with his dog and the dog was wearing the hearing aid.
