Ketchikan Community College

You are absolutely correct that as long as the local community
college is subordinate to the faculty and administration of a
4-year college or university, the community college function
will be a very distant second place. Watch closely and
you will hear arrogance and condescension. If you
want an effective community college, you will have to find a
way to break away. I know, I have been in two systems as
CEO and had to fight for every thing you need and still be ignored.
