by Charlotte Glover April 13, 2005 Dear Sitnews, Just wanted to let all of your readers know that the children's annex of the Ketchikan Public Library has a very comfortable, quiet and private sofa in the magazine area that is ideal for breastfeeding if you are downtown. We also have a padded changing table, ice cold water from the fountain and a few extra diapers floating around. If you like to read about parenting, we have a large supply of books and magazines downstairs as well, including "Mothering," "Family Fun, " "Brain Child," "Babybug," and "Parents." If your little one is moving around, we have lots of soft toys, baby board books and blocks. Libraries are for families and children of ALL AGES! Please feel free to bring your babies to the library and don't forget to read to your babies often! The sound of your voice will, literally, help grow their brain and prepare them for future learning. Yours for more comfortable and informed parenting, Charlotte Glover
