Drivers responsible
By Greg Harris

In response to Chris Elliot's letter, as an operator of a motor
vehicle on paved roadways, you, the driver, are responsible for
the safe operation of said vehicle. If you cannot or will not
spend the time to walk around your rig once in a while to check
brake lights, turn signals, lug nuts and fluid levels, perhaps
you should give up driving all together.
Check your vehicle once in
a while. The 3-minutes out of your day may save your life as
well as the lives of some other users of the roadways.
