Re: Roads on Gravina

My mother and numerous others acquired boats and either rowed
or learned enough about motors to travel to/from Gravina without
ever asking the community as well as the rest of the state and
nation to provide access to their remote properties.
You can currently get to Gravina on the airport ferry.
If you want a road to your property, get together with your like-minded
neighbors, establish LIDs or service areas and tax yourselves
to pay for it. Put YOUR money where YOUR mouths are. Stop trying
to usurp public money that is needed and far more appropriately
used where most people currently live and work; on the Ketchikan
side of Tongass Narrows.
