Not all the fisherman living in the houses at Bar Harbor were
POOR. My father Harold Markuson grew up in one of those homes
with neighbor and his best buddy Larry Erickson.
My Grandfather, Sigurd was
the fisherman, and one of the most successful hand trollers of
the area notably a "Highliner" We have pictures of
Harold and Larry growing up there with my aunt Sylvia and their
homes were very nice, my grandmother Hilda was an immaculate
housekeeper and gardener. Thank you for letting me share this.
