I just recently paid 14.25% tax to rent a house in South Padre Island, Texas. I'm sure when I get there and buy groceries, I will pay 14.25% tax. I assume the locals that live there also have to pay the same 14.25% tax. Seems the grass is definitely
greener in Ketchikan. About: "Former resident of Ketchikan for 11 years. Still a current homeowner of a home in Ketchikan." Received April 24, 2010 - Published April 27, 2010
