Every place else in the world this would be called protection money. And worse, what's fair about a large portion of your union dues going to political parties and candidates you don't like, most of whom belong to the democrat party. This is called money Laundering. And that is what public unions are really all about, laundering money for the democrat party and being thier strong arm just in case some guy decides he doesn't want to be part of the union any more. For the knowledge of all public union members, you do have something called Becks Rights, based on a 1988 Supreme Court decision, which states workers cannot be forced to pay any dues other than the amount specifically needed to fund their collective bargaining. (see also U.S.supreme court decision Sept 1 1998 Becks Rights) Martin Luther King had a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF EVIDENT THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. One big step in that direction is to have the dream that one day all states will be right to work states. Thank you.
