Ketchikan Man Charged In Crazy Wolf Studio Break-in

(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - Officers of the Ketchikan Police Department on Tuesday conducted an investigation of a burglary of Crazy Wolf Studio located at 607 Mission Street. According to information provided by Joseph White of the Ketchikan Police Department, an unidentified male broke out the window of the main door to the business and entered the store shortly after 4:00 am Tuesday. The male knocked over a glass display case, breaking it. He took approximately 12 carved silver native bracelets valued at $500.00 each.
Tuesday evening officers of the Ketchikan Police Department received a tip from a male, who said he might know who had the stolen bracelets. Officers were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence of 1450 Tongass #4.
Officers served the search warrant Tuesday evening and recovered the stolen bracelets. Francisco B. Bitonti, 39, was arrested and charged with one count of Burglary in the Second Degree and one count of Theft in the Second Degree. During the search warrants officers also located narcotics in the residence.
The investigation is on-going and additional suspects and charges may be added.
All charges are only accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
