Weiss Ball Fields By Jamie May April 28, 2014
We do clean up after our dogs and our team does clean up our dugout after a game. Some of us even stay until after the last game and clean up the bleachers. I do want to clarify that during our softball season the borough places their large garbage cans at each dugout so I find it hard to believe that the garbage problem at the fields is due to the softball players. I also find it hard to believe that we are the result of the human feces and condoms left on the field. In the six years I've played coed and the other eighteen years that I have spent at the fields watching coed I have never witnessed a player defecate on the fields. We are adults who have restrooms available. I also do not see where a person would have time during a game to need to use a condom. So again I do not think that "human feces" and condoms are a result of the softball players. I understand that some people do take advantage of the ball fields but I don't find it necessary to point the finger at the ball players who actually use the field for its true purpose.
