New Exhibit Opens at The Tongass
Historical Museum

Ketchikan, Alaska - Over two hundred visitors packed the gallery
at the Tongass Historical Museum Friday night, May 6th as the
Museum unveiled its summer exhibit, Tides of Change: The History
of Ketchikan. Using artifacts, photographs and artwork, the exhibit
tells the fascinating and oftentimes colorful history of the
"town on Tongass Narrows".
An old fire pumper
wagon is among the many items on exhibit. Visitors enjoy the
new exhibit at the Tongass Historical Museum.
The exhibit is open from now through September 26th. Admission
is free to all Ketchikan residents. The Tongass Historical Museum
is located at 629 Dock Street in downtown Ketchikan.
