Yes, I am an outsider even though one of my kids was born in K-town and has spent every summer of his life here. He is now 11... I pay my taxes, my property taxes, my sales taxes, my - yeah everything to the City of Ketchikan... or the Borough and I am going to be "expelled"(with that I mean closed down) because I am not there all year around? Hey, I pay my fair share to the economy. I love every minute I spend in Ketchikan. EVEN if it is only 5 1/2 months a year. The people with this petition thing are just trying to change the Constitution. Which COURT in their right mind would challenge a free enterprise and decide the enterprise would need to stay open year around? What happened to the LAND OF THE FREE? That also means you have the right to choose where you want to be at any time of the year. I can't live in Ketchikan year around. There is no job for me after season ends.
