I used to work at the pool, and I've seen people go there for therapy (actual hospital therapy program), team sports (I was on the KKW and high school team as well), swim class, and just for fun. I have seen elderly people tell me that because of the low-impact workout a pool can provide they are able to stay active. This benefits everyone in the community. In this community everyone
helps out everyone else. Even if I decided never to use the
pool, knowing that it helps so many people makes it seem a necessity
to me! We benefit when our neighbors benefit. Let's try to
remember that.
