Travesty, indeed.
By P. J. Travis

Tuesday
The Copper Ridge site for a new library is not the site we supported
or spoke for. The friends and neighbors we discussed the new
library site with seemed to support the current downtown location,
Heckman or Main School site.
What criteria did the Council use to make this decision for us?
Why are we allowing the Council to make this decision for us?
Maybe we need to put it back on the ballot to be voted on.
So, my family will use the UA Library, buy more books on Amazon,
share more books with family and friends, use internet more,
pick up used books "outside", and avoid the new library
on Copper Ridge.
