The PR approach may be new, but it’s the same worn-out product that Sealaska tried to sell us last fall. And despite their PR claims, there is not public support in Southeast Alaska for Sealaska’s land exchange proposal. It is way past time for Sealaska Corporation to acknowledge that the land they call ”Our Land” is our land – yours, mine, Sealaska’s. If Sealaska wants to be a good neighbor in Southeast, they can chose from the existing entitlement lands, and stop trying to get exclusive Corporate rights to already utilized, publicly owned lands. Sincerely, Gretchen Goldstein
