Recently in the past couple of days, working outside I noticed that the Pond Reef marker beacon was one-blinking during daylight hours and two very erratic in the blinking sequence.
A call to the local USCG to report the issue was met with a very fine response from professional speaking Petty Officers. Each of the three that were involved made common sense inquiry leaving me comfortable that action would be taken.
The next morning with my first cup of coffee, a team from the USCG base were on station and repairs were made promptly. I watched through my binoculars to witness no messing about, work was addressed systematically.
Pleasure to know our young folks in the service of the Coast Guard demonstrate these good traits.
Thank you crew!
