June 15, 2004 Ketchikan, Alaska - The Juneau Small Business Development Center and U.S. Small Business Administration will sponsor a workshop entitled Developing and Marketing Your Internet Presence, presented by Marketing and Outreach Specialist Todd L. Saunders. The workshop will cover website development topics such as what are the options for creating a website, what are the essential elements of an effective website, and how to track visitors to a website. Marketing topics such as knowing target customers and their needs, e-mail advertisements, direct e-mail, search engines, online billboards, banner ads and exchanges, links, partnerships, use of e-newsletters, branding, how to get visitors to return to a website, and how to cross market a web site will also be covered. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 29th, from 6 - 9:00 p.m. at the Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce Conference room, 111 Stedman, Suite 201. The cost is $20. Space is limited.
