Meeting Not Adequately Advertised
By Gerry K. Olmstead
June 05, 2006
Monday
This note is in support of Dave Jensen's letter. The annual
KIC Membership meeting was not adequately advertised. There
was nothing in the KIC Newsletter, on the website, nor were any
announcements sent out to members. There is always so much focus
on the council and administration (or lack of) that the members
are often overlooked. Is it not the members that make up the
Ketchikan Indian COMMUNITY? I among MANY others whom I have
spoke to are disappointed about the annual meeting taking place
on derby weekend and also such little notice given. When does
administration and council work around the members?
