According to the proposed jewelry store initiative, a jewelry
store established before January 1, 2008 within 200 feet [of]
another jewelry store is exempt from the proposed ordinance and
any business advertising or holding itself out as a jewelry
store shall be presumptively included in the proposed ordinance.

Supply & Treasures of the Carribean? Jud's Exotic Gems?
Newtown property owners: Get your signs up before the end of
the year and you're good to go. Holding yourself out as a jewelry
store can make it so (Shazam!) and guarantee your ability to
rent, lease and sell your property without interference.
