Undercover Meth operation results in Grand Jury indictments

Ketchikan, Alaska - Between December of 2007 and June 2008, the Ketchikan Police Department conducted a long-term undercover operation for the importation and sale of Methamphetamine in the Ketchikan area. As part of the investigation, seven local residents were recently arrested and/or charged with multiple felony counts of drug crimes. On June 12, 2008, a Grand Jury indicted the following persons:

Michael Todd Stanley, age 39, was indicted on 5 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felonies, four for selling Methamphetamine and one for possession of Methamphetamine with intent to sell.

Eulogio "Louie" F. Seludo, age 52, was indicted on 7 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felonies, for selling Methamphetamine; three counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, C felonies, for possession of Methamphetamine in the Fourth Degree, C felonies, for possession of Methamphetamine and the importation of a parcel containing approximately 12 grams of Methamphetamine.

Rodolfo "Rudy" L. Lastimosa, age 47, was indicted on 4 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felonies, for selling Methamphetamine.

Jolene J. Lapinski, age 33,was indicted on 3 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felonies, for selling Methamphetamine.

Meghan S. Bird, age 37, was indicted on 3 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felonies, for selling Methamphetamine.

Adrian P. Day, age 24, was indicted on 3 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felonies, two for selling Methamphetamine and one of the possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to deliver.

Kenneth K. Ketah Jr., age 27, was indicted on 2 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, B felonies, for the sale of Methamphetamine.

Each "B" felony has a maximum penalty of 10 years in jail and a $50,000 fine and each "C" felony has a maximum of 5 years in jail and a $50,000 fine.

Any charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
