Now with the M/V Tongass Ranger declared "unsafe" who is going to monitor timber sales, mining, recreation cabins, mooring buoys, archaeology sites, etc.?

The M/V Tongass Ranger is currently the only Forest Service vessel still in service in the Tongass Forest,Southeast Alaska.

How important is it to the people of Southeast to have a maintained boat and captain in the area?
