The Coast Guard reported receiving a call Sunday afternoon that the boat was in trouble off of Gravina Island's Dall Head which is located about 12 nautical miles southwest of Ketchikan.
The Silver King was grounded in order to keep it from sinking. A commercial salvage company plugged a 3 by 8 inch hole and the Silver King was refloated early Monday morning. The vessel was towed back to Ketchikan.
No injuries were reported.
