Mr. Johnson is passing on that "There have been over 900 Executive orders put forth from Obama..." without checking the facts. According to the National Archives, the President has put forth 126 executive orders not the 900 claimed in Mr Johnson's letter. That is about 36 per year in office. President Bush had 290 in his 8 years in office (36.25 per year). President Clinton had 363 (about 45 per year) and Ronald Reagan had 380 (about 47 per year). All are a far cry from Republican President Herbert Hoover who made 3466 executive orders in his 4 years in office. If we must put up with the BS from the far right and the far left can we at least get the facts straight?
